The new LT of New York.
The Jets made noise in Free agency today by signing future HOFer Ladainian Tomlinson. The Jets give him a two year deal and expect him to spell 2nd year back Shonee Greene. I think that this was the best move the could have made aside from re-signing Jones. I believe Green still needs that veteran presence around to help him become a legit rusher in the league. LT could come on this team and be the immeadiate starter but I dont see Rex Ryan doing that. Unfourtantly for LT his days as a premire back are over. Jets have also recently expressed intrest in RFA Brandon Marshall. With the addition of Marshall Jets would morph into a top tier team and for many years to come. The 29th pick is not much to give up for Marshall. He is an Elite receiver and is top 3 in the NFL. I think he is worth a top-10 pick. Sanchez, Greene, Marshall, Revis, Cromartie,Smith. That is a lot of young stars on one well coached squad. I see a few superbowls headed to NY.
Brady Quinn to Denver
Wow what a move Denver makes here. With 3 QB's already on the roster and then they trade for another project QB. The other three QB's are probably pretty upset.
Honostly though I think it was a great move for both teams. The Browns really needed another runiingback. Especially a bruiser like Hillis. Hillis has skills to be even a number 1 back. And they get rid of Quinn to start a whole new regime. The Broncos needed a QB like Brady Quinn, Mobile and accurate. Kyle Orton was a decent filler until they got a real guy for the job. Broncos made a push for Quinn last year and now they have him. If I'm the guy making decisions for Denver I release Orton and Simms and pick up a solid veteran or draft a 4th-7th rounder..Tony Pike if he is still there. I don't know if Quinn is the answer , but he is defiantly a step up from Orton and fits Denver's offense much better. Still I can stress enough there is a great QB of the future still unsigned and was never given a fair chance. Graham Harall. One of the best college quarterbacks and he is a good decison maker. Another long shot possibility is tradeing one of Shanahan's 'guys' to Washington for Campbell or BRENNAN! also a perfect fit for McDaniels O. So many possibilities but it looks like what will happen is the release of Simms and a competion between Quinn and Orton. Call me crazy but I could see Shanahan trading Brennan or Campbell and a 2nd and 4th rounder to Denver for Marshall. Crazy..yes possible.. barely but wouldn't that be nice.

Free Agency for the Bears
Free Agency this year has been slower than I had expected. With an uncapped year, I was kind of expecting over spending by teams that are fine financially. So far no team has come out of free agency better than the Chicago Bears. Peppers is an every down starter and Taylor has the talent to be. Manamaleuma is an intresting athlete. His size makes you think guard but his hands and quickness rival a TE. Therefore he is also a great addition at a great price. I expect them to make a move on Dez Bryant, Golden Tate, or Brandon Marshall. In order to get any of them a first rounder is pretty much required.. which they do not have. They need a #1 reciver though. They dont have a lot of fire power either for a trade. More likely i could see them signing Lavernus Coles or maybe shopping Forte or Hillenmier. They dont want to do that I'm sure but they really need a top wideout. If I am making decisions in Chicago I go after Javon Walker and Coles for a cheap price. They still have a little in the tank. Also still availble is David Anderson from Houston. Great player at a great price again. And also a 3rd rounder on a wide out will get you to raise a star under Coles and Walker's teachings.
